Let's chat

Periscope. Do you know about it? I currently am obsessed with it. Seriously, I love it! I feel like it helps to connect with people I follow. I really like watching Jordan Page from funcheaporfree.com, Crystal Paine from Money Saving Mom, and Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper.

So I have been thinking lately. What if I did a scope for you. I could answer your questions about Usborne, reading with your kids, ways to incorporate literacy and learning in your everyday life, or even do a party. What are your thoughts? Is this something that would interest you?

Reading Inspiration

I read this amazing article the other day about how we are destroying our children's love for reading. I thought it was very well put and inspiring so I wanted to share it with you. I think that it's easy to get caught up in life and forget to just enjoy. It's easy to just make reading be another chore your child has to do but it doesn't need to be that way. Read this short article and share your thoughts with me. What are you planning on changing in your home?

Need a fun way to keep your kids entertained for a bit? Here is your answer! The Magic Painting Book is a life saver. Using the provided pen (or your own paintbrush) and some water your children will get to paint a beautiful, mess free painting. I like to pull this out when Spencer needs an activity to help him calm down and release the crazies.

Make it Monday

Not gonna lie, today is such a gorgeous day! So for today's Make it Monday I went you to take your kids outside and do this fun activity. Have you heard of our paper airplane books?

Check this book out here

This book is so fun for kids and adults. In this book there are 100 different colored papers with instructions on how to fold 5 different types of planes. My husband loves this book because it helps him to release his inner child.

So here is what I want you to do. Make some paper airplanes with your kids. Then go outside and set up some sort of obstacle course for the planes. Have fun in the sun playing with your kids! This is a great family night activity ;)

Share a picture with me of you doing this and I will give you a prize! Comment below or email stephystevensbooks@gmail.com
